- More than 32 years of experience as a Consultant General & Laparoscopic Surgeon
- Held various positions as Head of surgical department and Senior Consultant General & Laparoscopic Surgeon at prestigious hospitals within UAE
- Academically, Professor of metabolic surgery and Professor of General Surgery & Endocrine surgery at Mansoura Faculty of medicine - Egypt, Adjunctive Professor of surgery, Sharjah Faculty of Medicine - UAE
- Vast experience in the field of Metabolic and Bariatric experience where he is inventor of SASI Bypass for Metabolic Syndrome Patients, Founder of Bariatric surgery in Al Qassimi Hospital and Founder of Bariatric in Kuwait Hospital
- Active participation in the seminars, meeting, conferences international and national
- Head of Scientific committee of Emirate society of metabolic and bariatric surgery
- Member of the International Society of Surgeons, Mediterranean Society of Colorectal Surgeons, Asia Society of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery, the IFSO society and member of the Egyptian Society of Surgeons in different specialty as the Colorectal Group, the laparoscopic Group, the Endocrine Group, Andrology, Bariatric, and Metabolic Surgery
